When customers genuinely love a product, they’re practically waving flags and shouting, “More of this, please!”
That’s a dream scenario for most of the SaaS businesses. It’s a beautiful moment when users don’t just use a product, they advocate for it.
But here’s where things can go sideways: instead of letting that organic love grow, someone swoops in (an Account Executive in this case) trying to upsell, throwing a bunch of “extras” nobody asked for.
Let’s say, you’re going to your favorite café ☕️, and instead of just enjoying your coffee, the barista tries to sell you on their new “espresso subscription service.” You’re like, “Dude, I just want the coffee!” 😅
The point is, when people love something, they naturally want more. We don’t need to shove it in their faces.
If the product is genuinely valuable, customers will come back on their own. They’ll even bring friends.
I might sound like one of those ‘good products sell themselves’ types, but hear me out. The point here is different.
Create something people truly want, and when they ask for more, give them exactly that. No gimmicks, no hard sell.
